Habitat 2007

A field trip to Pittsburgh and enjoying some free time....

First stop....lunch at world famous Primanti Brothers in the "Strip"
Menu for the sandwiches talked about on several TV shows...
Paige bites into her sandwich, which includes french fries and coleslaw, much to the enjoyment of Alexa.  It was soon sorted into three separate piles and consumed!!
Brian and Paige test the luminescent wall at the Carnegie Science Center.

Time for a little shopping in Station Square

A look at the skyline of Pittsburgh from Station Square across the Monongahela River.

Resting in PPG Square with the dancing waters...

On the observation deck atop Mt. Washington overlooking the city at night with Director Diane Belitskus and Tom Hughes.  Tom has lived in the area his whole life and it was his first trip up the Duquesne Incline.  We were glad they both joined us.

Waiting to go into the subway station after a long, hot afternoon...

A souvenir photo of their visit to Pittsburgh...

On another day, Paige enjoys some watermelon...

A tradition, Brian introduces the art of "Broom Writing" to Alexa and Paige along with two guests, granddaughters of Dr. Legge.  He is President of the Habitat affiliate and Pastor of the church that hosted us, Bull Creek Presbyterian Church.
An intense card game..."Spoons"
A picture worth a thousand words...
