The group is planning to attend the The 2009 ELCA Youth Gathering
in New Orleans, Louisiana from July 22-26.They have been busy with many fund raisers to help defray the costs of the trip, including may lunches, dinners, Valentine's Day gifts, garage sale, a quilt auction and much more.


Another fund raisers was a hot baked potato bar served to the congregation for lunch on a January Sunday.  They were super!

Spaghetti for Habitat

SPAGHETTI LUNCHEON prepared by the McNeal Family, was served April 20 by the Youth Group.  Proceeds from the meal will be matched by Thrivent to support the summer Habitat for Humanity trip.  Ben Longstreth and Lauren Cortelletti prepare generous plates.

The members of the 2007-08 Youth Group discuss their activities for the coming with advisor Judy Cortelletti.  A very energetic group, they have plans for a multitude of events planned including service for others, fund raisers and some fun things to do.
Of course, all that thinking requires a little food. 
During the past year the teens have decorated and arranged their room off the social hall.  Take a look sometime, they have done a fine job!!

And here's your favorite "Kiss the Fish" Winner...

Pastor Matt gets some gloves; Kevin scoops out the fish; Matt gets a grip; puckers up to kiss the little fish and and can't you see he just loved it!  All this to help the Youth Group get to New Orleans, what a guy!
